Meet Dr. Ariel J. Ourian
Dr. Ourian is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive procedures for the face, breasts, and body and is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. In addition to performing these procedures, Dr. Ourian is an instructor of surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is also actively involved in research and has authored numerous articles for medical journals and book chapters.
Outside of his clinical work, teaching, and research, Dr. Ourian is also involved with various charitable organizations. In particular, Dr. Ourian is known for work in cleft lip and palate medical missions in disadvantaged communities worldwide.
Dr. Ourian completed his undergraduate education at UCLA, where he studied biology and graduated Magna Cum Laude with Departmental Honors. He attended medical school at the University of California, Irvine followed by a five-year residency in general surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital through the Weill Cornell Medical College. Finally, Dr. Ourian trained in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Houston Methodist Hospital Program, where he worked with renowned leaders in the field.
